It’s been almost nine days since I last posted. The schedule is going pretty busy right now with classes beginning with full flow and assignments and presentation dates beginning to pour in. As was expected, the induction turned out to be a big hoax. The night of the presentation, the council members announced the name of the people who were not to be allowed to participate in any committee, people who were not to be allowed to choose the specialization of their choice and a few people who were not fit to be studying in IIML. As soon as the list announcements were complete, the seniors burst out laughing and declared that it was all a hoax. The council president took a lot of bumps thereafter! That was that and the induction was over.
We had our first Insti Party a couple of days after the induction. It began around 10:00 pm and went up to 2:00 am. Haven’t been to anything like it. The atmosphere was absolutely rocking. The music, DJ and the enthu around was fantastic. Free drinks (includes everything) were being served outside the hall. People were dancing like hell. Towards the end, people were drunk and exhausted and were moving like complete fanatics to the rock music that was being played. I saw a couple of them pass out and being carried away to their rooms. Overall, it was a fantastic party with moving bodies, drinks and smoke all around. Because of my aversion to alcohol and smoke, I enjoyed the party less than most of the people around, but still the music made it all worthwhile. Well, 2:00 am was the end of this first Insti party !
The classes began from the next day. The attendance criterion mentioned earlier holds strictly true in every respect. We can’t even think of bunking classes when we wake up in the morning. Besides, one thing that is quite strictly followed here is punctuality. A class timing of 9:00 a.m. strictly means 8:59:59 a.m. or in some cases, the time at which the faculty walks in (which normally is at most 3 minutes after the scheduled time). After that, no one is allowed into the class. Alright, I’m gonna finish with this later. We have “Parichay” (The cultural program organized by juniors) today. Will talk about classes in detail later. Ciao !

Okay...lemme have the honor of posting the 1st comment on this one...hehe..

Refrain from the "bad" part of the parties and enjoy the "good" part...
